Chicago (March 24, 2019) – Jabari Productions in association with Africa International House is gearing up for the 2nd Annual Chicago Jerk Festival in Washington Park Sunday, June 23rd from 10 am until 10 pm. The family-friendly daylong extravaganza will feature authentic Caribbean and American food with live music from Destra, Aidonia, Stone Bwoy, Mad Cobra, Errol Dunkley and more.
Hosted by Pretty Boy Floyd and Field Marshall, highlights will feature a bun eating contest, beef patty eating contest and activities for kids of all ages at the kids zone. Many Caribbean vendors from across the country will be grilling to perfection. Caribbean influenced arts and crafts souvenirs will be filled. Sound by DJ Innovation, DJ Tin Man, DJ Phantom, and DJ Bonsu will be heard throughout the park.

The Jerk Festival concept which highlights Caribbean food and entertainment has become a national concept. The idea of the Chicago Jerk Festival stemmed from its organizers Jabari C.G. Productions, who originated the Philadelphia Jerk Festival 6 years ago.
